all I'm doing is sharing what I think (and have though since 1991) is a really cool version of one of the Dead's best songs. no where do I extoll it over other versions, I simply note that it is different than what we are used to.

no biggie, I know I'm just jumpin' right in here with my opinions and alot of y'all have been here a long time...

Did anyone that hadn't heard the version check it out and like it??

one version not on stratocaster's list that I have been listening to a bunch recently is May 17, 1977, what I call the 'tomahawk' version b/c of a few Garcia licks. Incredible low string mutron licks in this Fire, too. really hot.

Great version from that Alabama show. Very smooth.
